one of the most striking aspects of the present acclerating revolution in Christian thought is the way in which the bible is establishing triumphantly its unsqueezability into the systems of handbook theology. No longer is it seen as a warehouse of texts suitable for supporting the constructions of Christian philosophers : it is being recognized as alive with a life of its own, aliving word that is not so much changeless as the most powerful source of change in the world.
